Where the Strong Ones Come to Heal and Evolve

Where the Strong Ones Come to Heal and Evolve

Our Services

This practice offers individual therapy for adults, conducted entirely online, from a biological-psychological-social-faith framework. That means sessions address the whole person: your history, your relationships, your body, your patterns of thought and behavior, and your spiritual identity.

The modality is relational and integrative. The pace is yours. The process is genuinely collaborative. Confidential and customized.

Rooted in clinical excellence, guided by faith, and built around you.

Areas of Focus

High-Functioning Anxiety
You have been anxious for so long it feels normal. You function, often at a high level, but underneath the productivity is a nervous system that rarely rests. The worry is chronic. The vigilance is constant. The cost is real. This is one of the most common presentations in this practice, and one of the most rewarding to work with, because you are often the most motivated client in the room.

Low-Grade, Chronic Depression
It doesn’t look like what people expect depression to look like. You get up. You go. You perform. But there is a flatness, a disconnection, a quiet grief that has been your companion for a long time. We name it. We trace it. And we work to change it.

Childhood Wounds in Adult Clothing
What happened in your family of origin, even the things that were never discussed, shaped you. The attachment patterns, the survival strategies, the stories you learned to tell yourself. Those patterns don’t disappear; they migrate. Part of the work here is seeing them clearly enough to change them.

Marriage and Relationship Patterns
The dynamics playing out in your marriage or relationships did not begin with your partner. Understanding where they come from and what you are actually responding to is some of the most powerful work available in therapy.

Stress-Related Physical Symptoms
If your body has started to speak through inflammation, autoimmune conditions, weight changes, chronic fatigue, or other physical signals, it is time to slow down and listen. This practice explores the biological dimension of your mental health because the mind and body are not separate systems. How you feel emotionally is showing up in how you feel physically. We pay attention to both.

Chronic Procrastination
In high-functioning, high-achieving people, procrastination is almost never laziness. It is often a symptom of anxiety, perfectionism, neurodivergence or an overwhelmed nervous system. We get to the root.

Life as the “Do-er”
Being the one who handles everything, the strong one, the responsible one - that identity comes at a cost. If you are tired of being strong for everyone else and ready to receive something for yourself, this is a space built for that.

Meet Your Therapist

A little about me… I received my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in mental health from the University of Southern California (USC). I have spent my career working with clients who carry more than they show. My goal is to help my clients become more loyal to their wellness than to their pain and history.

My approach is evidenced base, relational and collaborative. I work through a biological-psychological-social-spiritual lens, which means I hold space for all of you: your history, your body, your relationships, your faith, and your daily lived experience. I use diagnosis when needed only to help my clients understand their situation and the solutions available to them. I do not advocate for taking on diagnosis as confirmation of brokenness or as a part of your identity.

To ensure our time is effective, I use evidenced based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivation Interviewing, mindfulness and Solution Focused Therapy. And because most people want to know WHY they do what they do, I incorporate simple neuroscience explanations so you can understand and hack your brain and biology.

I am a Christian-Affirming therapist. I do not push faith. I do affirm clients with Christian identity who want that part of them acknowledged in the therapeutic process.

I’ve chosen to exclusively accept private pay to have the freedom to offer truly confidential and customized care.

I am ready to partner with you. You don't have to have all the words to get started. Wherever you are in the process, I will meet you there and we can work towards your goals.

A few things you should know before booking:

  • Sessions here do not follow a rigid script. You are not going to sit across from someone filling out a form, moving you through a protocol, and watching the clock.

What you will find is a space where you can be honest. Where we can look together at what’s real. The clinical framework I use is evidence-based, which means what I offer is grounded in what actually helps people. But the way it shows up in conversation is human, warm, and tailored to you.

We will talk about your childhood, not to blame, but to understand. We will talk about your relationships, including the ones that shaped you and hurt you. We will talk about your body and what it might be telling you about your nervous system and your stress. We will talk about your faith, if you want to, and how your spiritual identity shapes your experience of the world.

And on some days we will just sit with whatever is most present for you that week because healing is not always linear, and some sessions exist simply to process, breathe, and be witnessed.

Sessions are 30 minutes to 75 minutes, at the same flat rate, because your life is full and your processing should not feel rushed.

  • Let me be clear about something, because it matters and it’s worth saying directly.

This is not a Christian counseling practice. Scripture is not used as a clinical tool. You do not have to be Christian to receive excellent care here.

But this practice is Christ-centered in its values. I am a devout follower of Jesus Christ, a woman of faith, and that faith shapes my belief in your worth, your capacity to heal, and the possibility of transformation. I love to help Christian client’s tap into their greatest resource, their identity in Christ.

If you are a person of faith, particularly if you are a follower of Christ who has wanted a therapist who truly understands that dimension of your life without making it clinical or performative — you will feel that in this space.

You do not have to choose between clinical quality and a therapist who shares your foundation. Both are here.

If none of that is your vibe that is ok. We do not have to discuss faith. I will respect you and your beliefs. It is important to note that I do not engage in deeply discussing other faiths and spiritual paths.

  • Adults of all cultures and ages are welcomed. Women and men who are motivated for change. A significant part of the clients I serve identify as BIPOC, Black or African American and/or Christian.

Busy professional, business owners, those seeking privacy, those who need their diagnosis and records to remain private and individuals who want to avoid therapy mill companies.

  • This practice does not offer immediate crisis intervention services, medication management, psychological testing, family sessions or couples therapy. Services are on an individual basis and offered to adult clients only.

If any of these are what you’re looking for, we will point you in the right direction with referrals.

The healing you’ve been putting off. It’s still available. And so is the version of you on the other side of it.

The Financial Investment

Therapy can be one of the most meaningful investments you will ever make. Self-pay affords you confidential & customized care.

Self Pay Rates:

Initial session 60-75 minutes

Follow up sessions 30-75 minutes

All sessions are $300, flat rate

Most clients choose two sessions per month for $600 total. However, you can choose the meeting frequency that works for your schedule and budget.

Please note accommodation paperwork and letters are an additional specialized service. They are billed separately. I will do my best to complete these things during session with the client when possible. Fees for completing paperwork, writing letters, etc. will be billed at the session rate per hour.

I believe that everyone should have access to mental health care. Sliding fee scale is available for those who cannot afford the full fee. Slots are limited. I encourage you to ask about this during the consultation process or email jehna@evolvingingrace.com

Evolving in Grace accepts HSA/flex spending cards, debit and credit card payments. Payment is due at the time of service.

Insurance:

Evolving in Grace is not in-network with any insurance. Accepting self-pay exclusively allows for the privacy and customized care my clients desire. You may be able to receive partial or full reimbursement if you have a PPO insurance plan. I can provide a superbill if you would like to use your out of network benefits.

If you require reimbursement please check your coverage carefully. You can ask your insurance the following questions to learn about your out of network benefits.

  • Do I have out of network mental health benefits?

  • Is pre-authorization or a referral required?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session and do I have a copay?

Whatever you're building, I’m here to help you take the first step with confidence.
